Premium mix for Mexican Butterworts. Now the only Ping mix we use at Cascade Carnivores. Years ago we began testing this mix for our Mexican Pinguicula. We like the fact that this mix doesn't contain any peat moss, and is therefore environmentally friendly. And we love the fact that our Pinguicula plants develop superior root systems in this mix.

Contains an aquatic planting medium based on 100% natural montmorillonite, a common clay-based mineral used in soil-less planting mixes. Also includes horticultural silica sand and a very small amount of iron oxide. There are no seeds in this mix. It is a soil-less potting mix only.

To help reduce these costs on this, our heaviest shipping item, we will now ship this item via Priority Medium Flat Rate, separately from the other items in your order. A Medium Priority Flat Rate box will allow up to 6 quarts for one rate. Currently that rate is $19.30 for shipping one quart, or up to six quarts.

7 to 12 quarts can be shipped in a Large Flat Rate Box, so contact us for larger quantities.
