Utricularia calycifida is found in Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Calycifida 'Yog-Sothoth' is a registered cultivar, and was registered by B. Meyers-Rice (registered March 3, 2000), after an entity in stories by the author of classic horror novels in the 1930s, H.P. Lovecraft.

The image is an extreme closeup of a single flower. You will receive a cluster, from 1-3 plants, plenty to give you a vigorous start. Keep warm and give it pure water using the tray method, and plenty of indirect light.
