The fork-leaved sundews, or Drosera binata, come from the eastern coast of Australia. Drosera binata var. multifida f. extrema is a naturally occurring variation of this plant. Whereas the D. binata ('T' form) develops 2 points, and the multifida form develops up to 8 points per leaf, the extrema form develops leaves over a foot long and over 60 points!
Does well in either 60:40 peat:perlite or in the standard CP mix of 1:1 sand:peat. In general, they like growing in an open mixture. Water by the tray method.
Medium plants, shipped bare root. These plants are averaging larger than the image. Sized for a 4 inch (or larger) pot.
