Drosera regia is also known as the King Sundew, a name descriptive of it's elegant, sword-shaped leaves, as well as it's large size. The leaves of this species can reach close to 2 feet in length. Does well in either 60:40 peat:perlite or in 1:1:1 peat:perlite:sand. Some growers have success growing them in a mixture of long-fiber sphagunum moss and perlite. In general, they like growing in an open mixture.
They can be watered by the tray method, but let the water just evaporate before refilling. Use good quality pure water. Distilled water, rain water or RO-filtered water are best.

Young plants, shipped potted to minimize root disturbance.
