Drosera capensis, or the Cape sundew is from the cape area of South Africa. This is the white form, also known as Drosera capensis Alba, with white flowers. Common forms include alba, all-red, narrow leaf, and broad leaf (typical). Not too picky about soils, it will grow in anything from pure living sphagnum moss, to various CP mixes, such as the standard 'CP mix" of 1:1 peat moss:sand. We like to grow them in in a 60:40 mix of peat:perlite to give their roots a loose moist media to easily grow and spread out.
Medium plants, shipped bare root, carefully wrapped in damp sphagnum.
