Pinguicula sp "Köhres" (Koehres) $12.00

Pinguicula sp "Köhres" (Koehres) is a rare species of Mexican butterwort. Producing one of the most orchid-like flowers, it is one of the butterworts that always invites the response "That's carnivorous???". As do Mexican Pings generally, it prefers loose, open soil. We use 1 part each of peat, sand, vermiculite, perlite and pumice. Shipped bare root, carefully wrapped in damp sphagnum. The image shows a mature plant. The plants for sale may be smaller, not yet blooming size.
