Small plants with a leafspan of 2-4 inches Nepenthes talangensis x veitchii is a hybrid cross of two highland Nepenthes, N. talangensis and a striped form of N. veitchii. The plant in the image is a typical sale plant. Your plant will be shipped bare-root, with moist Sphagnum moss to protect the roots.
Cultivation
As do all highland Nepenthes, this hybrid prefers a well-drained media, which usually includes a generous portion of long-fiber Sphagnum moss. Other soil ingredients may include peat moss, washed sand, horticultural charcoal or large grade perlite, orchid bark and Osmunda fiber. Water as the surface of the soil just begins to get dry. Never let it sit in water. They like to be kept humid. Highland Nepenthes require cool nights to grow well and form pitchers. In general, night temperatures should drop below 60F nightly. Given cool nights, warm days well into the 80s or 90s are tolerated.
